The National Coordinator of the Ghana Boundary Commission, Major General Emmanuel Kotia, expressed appreciation to the GIZ for supporting the activities of the Commission particularly in the areas of reaffirmation of Ghana\u2019s international land boundaries with her neighbours since the year 2021; and the purchase of GNSS equipment for the Commission. <br \/>Discussions centred on a programme for mentoring Southern African States on how to establish Boundary Commissions. The meeting agreed that an experience sharing workshop should be hosted by the Ghana Boundary Commission in Accra in October 2023 as a first step of mentoring the States. The countries earmarked for the workshop include: Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. GIZ would fund the workshop to be held in Accra.
