The event also saw high-level engagement between the Upper West Regional Minister, Hon. Stephen Yakubu and Savannah Regional Minister, Hon. Saeed Muhazu Jibril and their counterpart Governors from Burkina Faso. The primary objective was to review and validate the Framework Agreement, setting the stage for its formal signing by the Foreign Affairs Ministries of both states.<br \/>The collaboration has been hailed as a crucial step towards strengthening governance and fostering better management of shared borders. The Head of the GIZ Support to the African Union Border Programme, Mr. Valentin Schuetz, commended both states for their commitment towards enhancing cross-border relations, noting the importance of effective governance in this context.<br \/>This initiative, supported by the German Government through its implementing agency, GIZ, underscores the growing international commitment to regional
