The meeting concluded with the signing of seven (7) bilateral agreements, three (3) of which focus on the reaffirmation and joint management of the International Land Boundary between the two countries.<\/p><p>The signing of the three agreements formalises the necessary processes for the commencement of boundary reaffirmation works by the Boundary Commissions of Ghana and Burkina Faso. It also establishes a Joint Commission responsible for undertaking the reaffirmation exercise and formalises processes for advancing structured cross-border cooperation between the two states.<\/p><p>Speaking after the signing ceremony, Ghana\u2019s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Head of Delegation, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, underscored that the agreements represent a renewed commitment to intensifying bilateral cooperation.
