The workshop which was funded by UEMOA is being held at the Blue Hills Hotel, Wa in the Upper West Region of Ghana from 22-24 June 2023.
In his Opening Remarks, the Upper West Regional, Hon Dr Hafiz bin Salih highlighted underlined that Ghana, Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire share common borders, cultures, and histories that calls for a consensual need to promote peace, security, planning, and development in the Black Volta Community. He emphasised that the integration of the three countries was not merely a political endeavour, but rather a vision that seeks to respond appropriately to the climate, social, economic, and security problems faced in the Community.
