The Ghana Boundary Commission led a team of Programme Officers from African Union Border Programme (AUBP)/GIZ for a boundary inspection at Ziope in the Volta Region, along the common Boundary Line between Ghana and Togo.
The aim of the visit was for the team to assess the state of the new boundary pillars under construction and to be briefed on the different forms of natural boundary demarcations in the area.
The visit was part of the AUBP/GIZ Internal Planning Meeting held in Ghana from 15 to 19 April 2024. The team was briefed on site by the Deputy Director of Operations of the GhBC, Lt Col Evans Komedjah.
