GhBC paid a courtesy call on the Management GBC on Tuesday, 13 February 2024. The purpose of the meeting was to explore possible areas of collaboration.
Addressing the Management of GBC, the Commissioner General of the Ghana Boundary Commission, Maj. Gen Kotia expressed gratitude to the Director-General and staff of the Corporation for their continuous support in the area of coverage and their role in sensitising Ghanaians on the works of the Commission. He also took the opportunity to entreat for wider coverage, especially in the areas of sensitisation through GBC’s radio channels.
Welcoming the delegation from the Commission, the Director-General of GBC, Prof. Amin Alhassan, noted that the two state institutions are similar when it comes to securing the boundaries of Ghana. He added that, while the Commission secures the boundaries through physical demarcation, GBC does same through their cultural content communicated to people living along the boundaries and the nation as a whole
