National Stakeholders’ Dialogue on Emerging Security Threats
The Ghana Boundary Commission, with support from Conciliation Resources and the Robert Bosch Stiftung Foundation, organised a 1-day National Stakeholders’ Dialogue on Emerging Security Threats and Initiatives towards Effective Boundary Management and Security in Accra on Thursday February 2024.
The Dialogue, which saw the gathering of all relevant stakeholders in Ghana’s boundary management space including representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, Customs Division of GRA, Ghana Immigration Service, CSOs and NGOs, aimed at creating a collaborative environment for stakeholders, institutions, and partners to share information and ideas on current and emerging trends along Ghana’s international boundaries.
The dialogue will also serve as a prelude to a sub-regional workshop for stakeholders from the trio border countries of Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Côte d’Ivoire to be hosted by the Ghana Boundary Commission at the end of February.
