Commissioner General of Ghana Boundary Commission Pays Courtesy Call on Chief of Naval Staff

The Commissioner General of the Ghana Boundary Commission, Major General Emmanuel Kotia, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu, on Tuesday 4 June 2024 at the Naval Headquarters in Burma Camp. The Commissioner General underscored that the purpose for the visit was to thank the CNS for the support offered by the Ghana Navy to GhBC over the years, especially in the domain of maritime inspections along the maritime boundary line with neighbouring Cote d’Ivoire.

The CNS, while welcoming the Commissioner General and his entourage, emphasised that the Ghana Navy was equally grateful to GhBC for providing the Navy with surveillance drones to support their maritime activities. He expressed gratitude to the Commissioner General for the visit and said he was proud to be associated with the Ghana Boundary Commission.

Major General Kotia and Rear Admiral Yakubu exchanged plaques, and they both pledged their continuous support to each other for the peace and security of Ghana.
