GhBC facilitated an Extraordinary General Meeting of the ESCO BLACK VOLTA in Accra

GhBC, with the support of GIZ and UEMOA, facilitated an Extraordinary General Meeting of the ESCO BLACK VOLTA in Accra.

The two-day meeting aims at updating the statutes and internal regulations of the ESCO BLACK VOLTA, with the view to integrating the Savannah Region of Ghana.

In his opening remarks, the Commissioner General of the Ghana Boundary Commission, Maj. Gen. Kotia, commended the ESCO BLACK VOLTA membership for establishing a common platform where members jointly coordinate their efforts in responding appropriately to shared climatic, social, economic, and security problems through enhanced coordination and communication; noting it as an important integrated cross-border development strategy.
