A two-day technical meeting between the Ghana Boundary Commission (GhBC) and the National Boundary Commission of Cote d’Ivoire

The Technical Teams of the Ghana Boundary Commission (GhBC) and the National Boundary Commission of Cote d’Ivoire held a two-day technical meeting, at the GhBC office from 19th to 20th of February 2024. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the joint reaffirmation of the Ghana/Côte d’Ivoire international land boundary and the commencement of the construction of new Boundary pillars. The meeting, which was supported by the GIZ/AUBP ended successfully with the parties signing a communique, emphasising mutual commitment to boundary clarity and adherence to international agreements.
