The maiden Experience Sharing Workshop under the auspices of the Ghana Boundary Commission on the Development and Operationalization of National Boundary Structures for SADC Countries and Ethiopia commenced. The 3-day workshop, the first of its kind and sponsored by the German Government aims at supporting the operationalization/strengthening of Boundary Commissions of targeted states.

In attendance for the opening ceremony were the Deputy German Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Sivine Jansen; the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon Benito Owusu-Bio; the National Coordinator of the Ghana Boundary Commission, Maj Gen Kotia; and the Director General for the National Boundary Commission of Nigeria, Surveyor Adam.
